Values are guiding principals that determine all individual and group decisions and behaviors. At Lord of Life there are four core values that guide our decisions in living the mission Christ commanded:

Focused on Christ and the Scriptures

The cross symbolizes Christ’s death and resurrection, His ultimate gift of love for our salvation. The Gospel of John tells us to be Christ Centered.

"If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him."
John 14:23

"I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."
John 15:5

Faith & Inspiration

The Dove symbolizes the Holy Spirit, the source of our Faith and Inspiration. Our worship becomes a meaningful expression of our belief and inspires us to live the Great Commission.

"the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you."
John 14:26

"Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain. of what we do not see. "
Hebrews 11:1

Celebration

Lyre Harp – Our worship of Celebration is focused on the Praise of Jesus Christ. The lyre has long been an instrument of worship.

"Sing to the Lord with thanksgiving, sing praises to our God on the lyre."
Psalm 147:7

"Everyday they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
Acts 2:46-47

Discipleship

The Sandaled Foot – Our Discipleship is revealed in action as Scripture-based preaching encourages life application.

"How lovely on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who announces peace and brings good news of happiness, who announces salvation and says to Zion, ‘Your God reigns!"
Isaiah 52:7

As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.
Ephesians 4:1
