A note from Anne……

I know that I’ve said this before, but it’s what is always on my mind this time of year:  I can’t believe the school year is over!  Didn’t we just get started?  Wasn’t it just yesterday that we were literally pulling some of these children out of the car, crying and scared?  Now look at all of them!  The kids have grown up so much these past 9 months.  For some of the children my thoughts go even farther and I say to myself, “I can’t believe that family will no longer be at the preschool!” as their youngest child is due to graduate at the end of May.  In any case, I hope that you and your child have had a meaningful year at LOL!  Have a fun and safe summer!  We’ll miss you!

September Tuition for 2008/2009 Preschool Year….

September tuition for the upcoming year is due by May 15^th.  Failure to meet this billing date may result in forfeiting your child’s space.  Here are the tuition fees:

2 – Day Class                      $140/month

3 – Day Class                      $190/month

4 – Day Class                      $225/month

Keeping Calm….

We all know how exciting the end of the school year can be, especially for the children.  In order to help the children get the most out of their last month of preschool, please remind them that we are still in school and summer vacation has not yet started.  They are still expected to follow the class rules, treat others with respect, and listen to their teacher.  Also, if you are planning an end of the year party for your child’s class, keep it simple.  The more you have going on, the more excited the children will become.  The more calm the surroundings are, the more calm the children will be!  J

Parking…

There are often many opportunities for parents to be at the preschool around the end of the year.  Please remember that if you park against the sidewalk, your car must be moved by 12:30 to allow for carpool.

Kindergarten Registration….

Registration has started for our rising kindergarteners!  If you have not done so, please contact your local school district to find out more information on registration.

Fall Dates…….

For those of you that are coming back in the fall, we will have Open House on Thursday, August 28^th and school will begin Tuesday, September 2^nd.  A reminder letter will be sent in August with times for Open House.  You will also be contacted by your child’s teacher in August.  If you have any changes for next year, please email or call the preschool.
